This thesis investigated health related quality of life (HRQoL) measured annually at three time points (T1, T2, T3) in children treated for medulloblastoma (SRM) or low grade cerebellar astrocytoma (LGCA) compared with a typically developing group of children. Four research questions were addressed. These were, first, whether HRQoL and other aspects of quality of survival differ between children treated for cerebellar tumours and a representative sample of children in the general population. Second, whether there are differences between HRQoL in children treated for SRM and LGCA. Third, whether HRQoL and the factors that impacted on it changed over time.
