An assay was carried out to evaluate the productive performance of broiler chickens fed soybean roasted or extruded. 165 male Ross-308 broilers were raised and fed from day 1 of age up to 42 days. At day one, the chickens were randomly assigned to three treatments: control, roasted soybean (RSB) and extruded soybean, both products were included at 18 and 20% of the initial and final diets, respectively. At the end of the experiment live weight, feed intake, feed conversion, mortality (%) and abdominal fat pad were not different (P > 0,05) among treatments, but live weight gain was less (P 0,05) entre los tratamientos, pero la ganancia diaria fue menor (P < 0,05) en PST que en los otros tratamientos.
