In this Britské listy interview, broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionalnitelevize.cz, Bohumil Kartous talks to Jan Čulík, the editor-in-chief of Britské listy, about why this website was created twenty years ago and what it has achieved during the two decades of its existence. Čulík points out that the purpose of Britské listy is to encourage the intercultural exchange of ideas between the Czech Republic and the wider world, which is more important than ever in the current situation when European nations suffer from the rise of defensive nationalism and xenophobia
