A new wave of VR head mounted displays is being developed and released to the commercial market including examples such as the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Playstation VR. Bundled together with these head mounted displays are a new generation of hand motion controllers which allows the users to reach out and grasp in the virtual environment. Earlier research has explored a range of possible interaction techniques for immersive VR interaction, mainly focusing on the quantitative and objective performance of each technique.
