Exploring the present in form of history: remarks on the emancipatory potential of time-relations in film. The text reflects on the possibilities and modalities of film to investigate into history. Special emphasis is given to the way film as time based medium can relate to history as also time-based relation between past and present. References are made to Walter Benjamin, Gilles Deleuze, Donna Harraway and Theodor W. Adorno
