ABSTRACT This study aimed to describe the process of constructing and evaluating an interactive educational technology for family members acting as caregivers who care for dependent people to ensure continuity of care after hospital discharge. This is an applied research, descriptive exploratory, developed between 2012 and 2013. The educational technology construction based on the ADDIE model, which in turn based on the Contextualized Instructional Design. Six experts evaluated the technology with a questionnaire with closed and open questions.
