The emerging complexity in the pre-school educational settings may it possible to consider the today teachers' professionalism on profiles of competences? And how they take into account the quality of the action that a teacher is able to express in daily practice, both to children and personal growth? To these questions and more, this project research wants to answer, taking advantage of the paradigm of agency and capability process introduced by Sen and Nussbaum (2000; 2012) to present a new point of view to support teachers' professional qualification, able to restore the relationship between initial training and professional practice, self-owned skills and freedom of agency, standards of performance and personal fulfillment.
