Objetivo:Análisis de la lactancia desde su importancia simbólica en la creación de relaciones y vínculos sociales. Objetivos: Analizar el papel que las madres otorgan a la lactancia en la construcción de la persona y en los vínculos de parentesco e indagar el orden simbólico que sustenta las críticas y/o presiones que reciben cuando amamantan sin restricciones.Material y Método: Metodología cualitativa: entrevistas en profundidad a madres lactantes y observación participante en grupos de apoyo a la lactancia.Resultados y conclusiones: Para las madres, la lactancia constituiría una importante contribución en la formación biopsicosocial de unos hijo/as que se convertirán en individuos libres.
