Optimerad nätdesign med avseendepå lönsamhet och tillförlitlighet : En studie av hur ett minskat antal kabelskåppåverkar lågspänningsnätet

Cable cabinets do not have its own value in the revenue regulation. Instead they are included in the revenues generated from low voltage cables. Because of that some cable cabinets can be assumed to cause additional costs in the low voltage grid. But a reduced amount of cable cabinets may have negative consequences regarding maintenance, power failures and error recovery. The purpose of this study is to investigate what impact a reduced amount of cable cabinets has on the low voltage network in terms of profitability and reliability in Askim, Sweden. Since power grids quickly becomes complex the study is limited to the block Knapehall. Four different scenarios with different grid structures have been studied. Scenario 1 and 2 investigates the consequence of designing the network with the same structure as the existing network, but with different cables. In scenario 3 and 4 a new network structure has been developed. Scenario 3 only consist of new cables, unlike scenario 4 where the existing cables have been conserved within the boundary of a building plot and then jointed to a new cable. Scenario 4 generates maximum profitability considering investment costs and generated revenues. Furthermore the networks reliability has been investigated by studying the quality indicators for each scenario. They show that scenario 3 with fewer cable cabinets and new cables results in a network with minimum interruptions. Finally the study shows that today's existing network receives the highest costs in regard to maintenance and error recovery
