Includes bibliographyThe objectives of the meeting were to: (a); strengthen the relationship between users and producers of gender statistics; (b); define a set of basic indicators necessary for the completion of the situational analysis on women and men in the English-speaking Caribbean, and to some extent, also the Spanish-, French- and Dutch-speaking countries of the subregion; (c); evaluate the available gender-related data in the databases of the Caribbean organizations and the United Nations system; and (d); share national experiences regarding the production and use of gender statistics
