The present work investigates the nonlinear wave properties of a collisional dusty plasma consisting of electrons, ions, and charged grains. It is shown that the collisional dusty medium is inherently dispersive in nature when the electrons and ions are strongly magnetized. In such a plasma, when the fluctuation wavelength is larger than the dust skin depth, the balance between the dispersion and nonlinearity leads to the modified Korteweg–de Vries equation.
