This paper proposes a novel approach for classifying emotional states of neutral or anger of female voice from artificial pidgin utterances using Support vector machine (SVM). The objective of the paper is to demonstrate that a new language called Game pidgin language (GPL), can not only generate real time spoken response from the nonplayer-character but also capture and express emotions in speech interactive computer games. The new language is applied to capture the emotion in speech of a game player to generate the corresponding emotive response from the nonplayer-character (NPC).5 page(s
