'Growing Up' was a series of six short sex education films made by Film Australia in 1977. At that time, a number of organisations in New South Wales advocated the introduction of sex education in schools. The aim of the series was to encourage discussion among teenagers themselves to enable them to appraise situations they could face as they moved through their teenage years.
