Cascaded Stimulated Polariton Scattering (SPS) to the fourth-Stokes order is observed experimentally in an intracavity THz polariton laser utilising Mg:LiNbO₃. The performance of the cascaded laser is presented, the origin of the cascaded fields is explained and compared to theory, and the potential consequences for using cascading to enhance the THz output from this type of device are discussed.12 page(s
