Resumo: No presente trabalho a produção de manganês peroxidase (MnP) pelas bactérias Bacillus pumilus e Paenibacillus sp. foi estudada na ausência e presença de indutores. As cinéticas de produção enzimática mostraram que a utilização de indulina AT no meio de cultivo de B. pumilus aumentou a atividade da MnP, propiciando 31,66 U/L após 8h, enquanto a utilização de indutores no meio de cultivo de Paenibacillus sp. não causou aumento da MnP, e a cultura sem a presença de indutores apresentou atividade da MnP de 12,33 U/L, após 20 h.
