Introdução: Fibrose cística (FC) é uma doença genética autossômica recessiva mais comum entre caucasianos. Caracterizam-se pelo defeito no transporte iônico através da membrana celular nas células epiteliais das vias aéreas, pâncreas, glândulas salivares, sudoríparas, intestino e aparelho reprodutor. As secreções mucosas ficam espessas e viscosas, causando obstrução ao nível de ductos e canalículos glandulares. Objetivo: Verificar os parâmetros bioquímicos da saliva, a saúde gengival e dental de pacientes com FC e analisar sua relação com a gravidade da doença e medicações.
