Introdução: Pacientes submetidos à amputação de membro inferior por doença arterial obstrutiva periférica (DAOP) estão em risco para o desenvolvimento de trombose venosa profunda (TVP). Há poucos estudos na literatura sobre a incidência no pós-operatório precoce e quanto aos fatores de risco no desenvolvimento da TVP no membro amputado.
