Financial performance and productivity: the dichotomy of the brazilian air transport industry

The paper focuses on the analysis of the productivity of the main production factors: labor, capital, energy and also the processes directly managed by the airlines. It measures the operational productivity and its explanatory variables during the post-deregulation period, as well as its impacts on the economic performance of brazilian airlines.
