The internationalization of companies refers to a strategy to get greater presence in the international market. As the companies need to make use of strategical resources for their insertion in the international market, was searched to answer: Is there a relation between the evolution of the strategical resources and the strategies of internationalization in great exporting companies of the Brazilian footwear sector? For the theoretical base were used the classifications of the resources of Fahy (2002) and the strategies of internationalization of Sharma and Erramilli (2004).
