AS REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS DO ATO PEDAGÓGICO DOS PROFESSORES DE EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA QUE ATUAM NO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL NO MUNICÍPIO DO RIO DE JANEIRO

The main purpose of this researchis to identify social representationsof elementary physical educationteachers of public schools in Rio deJaneiro city. In the first moment wehave made a panoramic view aboutphysical education history as wellas a revision of the concept of socialrepresentation. We applied an openedquestioner with 13 questions to16 elementary teachers from publicschools of Rio de Janeiro city abouthow they think their practicesand how they embassy their workand their intervention on reality.Analyzing the discourses of the teachers,in a perspective of Orlandi,we have been saw that they think about their selves as educators aswell as we can identify some contradictionsbetween their actionsand their theoretical reflexions, forexample, they see their practicesas essentially based on Psychomotricity,but say, at the same time,that their work is conducted to theintegral formation of the student.http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/2175-8042.2009n32-33p211O objetivo da pesquisa é identificar as representações sociais do ato pedagógico dos professores de educação física que atuam no ensino fundamental no Município do Rio de Janeiro. Para tal foi feito um levantamento panorâmico e sintético da história da educação física e do contexto da educação física escolar, bem como, a demarcação da noção de representação social. Foi aplicado 1 (um) questionário aberto, com 13 (treze) perguntas, a 16 (dezesseis) professores de educação física, da rede municipal de ensino, da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, que ministram aulas no ensino fundamental, sobre o modo como pensam sua prática e como fundamentam a sua intervenção e a sua profissão. Ao analisarmos os discursos rlandi, identificamos que o professor se auto percebe como um educador e, ao mesmo tempo, demonstra inúmeras contradições teóricas e conceituais entre o seu pensar e o seu fazer. Consegue fundamentar a sua prática por um único viés, que é a psicomotricidade, ainda que verbalize sobre a formação integral do aluno
