O direito de imagem consiste em um contrato de licença para uso da imagem do atleta. Este autoriza a exploração da sua imagem por meio de um ajuste de valores com o clube empregador. Na prática, o direito de imagem tem sido usado para burlar os valores das contribuições sociais e obrigações tributárias por partes de clubes e atletas.The work examines the image rights of professional footballer.
