The significant volume of spending on procurement in Brazil and the world reaches an average of 15% of GDP (VALENTE, 2011). Thus, if the bids were conducted in a sustainably way, there could be markets for sustainable products and services, and contributing to the emerging innovations in sustainable development. Considering the Sustainable Procurement, this study has the general objective of verify the Sustainable Public Procurement in a Ministry of Brazil.
