Este artigo apresenta as relações Intensidade-Duração-Freqüência de chuvas para a cidade de Chapecó, Estado de Santa Catarina. Foram estudadas as chuvas com duração de 5 até 1440 minutos e ajustadas três equações para a estimativa das intensidades das chuvas, uma para durações de até 120 minutos, outra para durações entre 120 e 480 minutos e a terceira para durações entre 480 a 1440 minutos Foram determinadas também as relações entre chuvas de diferentes durações, observando-se uma variação na relação entre a chuva de 24 horas sobre a chuva de um dia de duração conforme a hora da coleta da chuva diária.This paper studies the Intensity-Duration-Frequency relationship of rainfall for the city of Chapecó, Santa Catarina State, Southern Brazil....
