Escrita e letramento com alunos AvÃ-Guarani: aulas de reforÃo

This work intended to verify how the teaching of writing in Portuguese occurs through literacy events in support classes with a group of AvÃ-Guarani Indian students. This way, the present research will present the experience of the teacher-researcher at support classes with a group of second grade students at elementary level. The data triangulation demonstrated that: the writing abilities in Portuguese, in literacy events, are developed from the oralization of the Indian students in the Portuguese language and from their conceptions of Portuguese writing; the presence of the Indians in Santa Rosa do Ocoà and the consequent contact with the involving society conduct the selection of the contents taught in the classroom; there are expectations, among non-Indian teachers that work at AvÃ-Guarani school, that the Indian childrenâs learning must be similar to the non-Indian studentsâ learning. However, the differences of the Indian childrenâs way of learning cause the (re)production of negative representations about their learning and capacity, which reveals the urgency of a teacher education program that enables the teachers to deal with sociolinguistically complex contexts, contradicting the myth of monolingualism in Brazil. The adoption of a sensitive practice for working in complex contexts, mainly those in which the teacher does not share the culture of his students, such as the case of Indian contexts, can minimize culture conflicts.Este trabalho procurou verificar como ocorre o ensino da escrita em lÃngua portuguesa atravÃs de eventos de letramento em aulas de reforÃo com um grupo de alunos indÃgenas AvÃ- Guarani. Diante disso, a presente pesquisa estarà mostrando a experiÃncia da professorapesquisadora com o trabalho de reforÃo escolar para um grupo de estudantes da segunda sÃrie do Ensino Fundamental. A triangulaÃÃo de registros evidenciou que: as habilidades de escrita em lÃngua portuguesa, em eventos de letramento, desenvolvem-se a partir da oralidade dos alunos indÃgenas na lÃngua portuguesa e de suas concepÃÃes sobre a escrita do portuguÃs; a presenÃa dos indÃgenas em Santa Rosa do Ocoà e o conseqÃente contato com a sociedade envolvente direcionam a seleÃÃo dos conteÃdos ensinados em sala de aula; hà expectativas, entre os professores nÃo-indÃgenas que atuam na escola AvÃ-Guarani, de que a aprendizagem das crianÃas dessa escola deva ocorrer de modo similar à dos alunos nÃo-indÃgenas. PorÃm, as diferenÃas no modo de aprender das crianÃas Ãndias provocam a (re)produÃÃo de representaÃÃes negativas sobre sua aprendizagem e capacidade, o que torna urgente a formaÃÃo dos professores para a atuaÃÃo em contextos sociolingÃisticamente complexos, que contradizem o mito do monolingÃismo no Brasil. A adoÃÃo de uma prÃtica sensÃvel para a atuaÃÃo em contextos complexos, principalmente naqueles nos quais o professor nÃo compartilha da cultura dos seus alunos, como à o caso dos contextos indÃgenas, pode minimizar os conflitos culturais
