This study was designed to investigate on the impact of on the job training on employee’s performance in secondary schools of the Songea Municipality in the Ruvuma region. It was about on-work training among teachers in Songea’s Secondary Schools. The sample selected for the impact study of training was sixty four (64), of which we had thirty three (33) male teachers and thirty one (31) female teachers. This study has revealed that trained employees are more willing to continue working in the same organization after being trained than those who are not yet trained.
