Klement Slavický and his Suite for oboe and piano

This thesis deal with life and work of czech musical composer of 20th century, Klement Slavický with special focus on his Suite for oboe and piano. The effort is to approach life story of a persecuted composer, whose works were known behind the borders despite the unwillingness of a political regime. Althought his work as well as his life story is not in common awareness. The analysis of Suite for oboe and piano is to be a help to next interpreters to understand the piece and to be a help with its playing. There is also a studio recording made for better picture and clearness of the piece
