Cooperation of the nursery school and the family

In my bachelor work I am going to explore the cooperation between kindergadens and families. This cooperation is vital for the proper development and education of pre-school age children. The main aim of my research is to deepen our understanding about the importance of the kindergarten and families working together. I seek tomidentify the various ways in which such cooperation can take place and furthemore to investigate how the kindergarten and the families communicate and collaborate, whether the parents find this satisfactory and whether the activities run by the kindergartens and their operation meet the parents' expectations. Last but not least the dissertation will assert the importance of the relationship and the cooperation between families and kindergartens. In the theoretical section the basic terms are defined: a family and its function, different styles of upbringing, a kindergarten (including the listing of various types of kindergartens inclusive of the alternative ones). In the practical part I will gather and then analyse data using the empirical research method. The information will be collected quantitatively in the form of a questionnaire for the parents whose children attend a kindergarten and by interviewing kindergartens teachers.
