Child Abuse and Neglect

The theme of my bachelor´s thesis is the mistreatment, abuse, and neglect of children. The aim of my thesis will be to focus on how to relate the CAN syndrome to the general public, as well as exploring and documenting the attitudes and opinions about this syndrome. In the theoretical part of my thesis, I will explain and detail the characteristic signs of the CAN syndrome, which can but is not limited to: types of abuse, neglect, causes and consequences of violence to children, victim and perpetrator characteristics, and the prevention and treatment of the CAN syndrome. The practical part of my thesis will consist of the evaluated results of a general survey which will contain research questions, and will be presented to the participants in the town Příbram
