The use of melodic instruments in musical activities of preschool children.

The theme of the thesis is the musicality of preschool age children and their ability to work with even more difficult melodic instruments. The theoretical part is focused on defining the concept of musicality, musical development of children from birth to 6 years, musical creativity and the influence of music on the successful entry into primary school. Another integral part of the theory is a division of Carl Orff instrumentation, its correct name and methodology games. The aim of the practical part is an exhibition of the use of melodic instruments by preschool children to particular songs and its integration into the thematic musical locomotor performance. The survey was conducted qualitatively by a method of an involved and unstructured observation, supplemented by photographs and video footage.
