Toponyms of the Microregion Podkletí

The topic of this bachelor thesis are the place-names (oikonyms) of the microregion Podkletí. The theoretical part describes toponymy as a linguistic discipline including it´s short history. It also mentions Vladimír Šmilauer´s and Rudolf Šrámek´s methodological approaches to examine oikonyms. In the practical part we are going to apply these classifications on concrete place-names in the examined area. We are going to take up interest in the distribution of word-forming types and whether it corresponds with the general preconditions
