Rituals at Alternative Nursery Schools

This bachelor thesis examines use of rituals at alternative nursery schools. The theoretical part explains the term ritual and usefulness of rituals for children of preschool age. Further, the term alternative is discussed and programmes of alternative nursery schools are introduced. The practical part presents records of the course of the day at alternative nursery schools with emphasis on rituals. The method used for the research is direct observation and interviewing with teachers of alternative nursery schools. The practical part is illustrated by texts of rituals collected during the research
