Survey of the pupils' reading level in various stages of reading skills

The thesis titled Survey of the pupils' reading level in various stages of reading skills deals with current issues in teaching primordial reading in the first years of primary school. The thesis contains a theoretical part and a research part. In the theoretical part are characterized historical and current methods of reading. The main types and quality of reading, errors and deficiencies in reading and their causes are described in the part too. It also deals with the problems of diagnostics reading at the first class of primary school . The research part is focused on the exploration of reading levels of pupils in the first grade of elementary school . Pupils' level of reading skills in teaching reading was analyzed by using analytic-synthetic method and genetic method based on the diagnostic screening
