The bachelor?s thesis contemplates the relationship between an artistically stylized language of dramas of Czech rural realism and realism as a movement, that tries to resemble reality as much as possible, and thus a movement, that should be bereft of stylization. In the first theoretical part this issue is approached through historical context of the origins of these plays. It deals with the contemporary artistic theories of realism and naturalism. The author of this work also analyzes the plays of the chosen playwrights. She deals with the conflict between form and content, she examines thematic similarities in all the plays, which became the basis for the montage of texts for Maryšo! Evo! Dom!
