Podmínky rozvoje mikroregionu na vnitřní periferii: případová studie Centra Železných hor

Diploma thesis "Conditions of rural development in the microregion in the Czech inner periphery: Case study Železné hory" is focused on the lagging regions of Czech Republic. The first part is devoted to the typology of Czech rural regions, to the term of the inner periphery, its definition and processing of the available literature. Acquired knowledge is applied to the micro-region Centrum Železných hor. The aim of the work consists in a brief description of the region with emphasis on symptoms peripherality and seeking development perspectives. The outcome of this work includes a SWOT analysis and design strategy for development of the micro-region, based on specific condition of the area. The main point of development strategy is focused on improving the social environment and the promotion of the so-called green tourism. At the end measures applicable to other regions of the inner periphery are recommended, especially close cooperation with MAS and human capital development
