This bachelor thesis deals with the issues related to the role of women in agriculture in developing countries with a special focus on Africa. Theoretical part describes the position of women in several areas including property rights or climate change. Practical part applies these issues to a specific african region, while the performed SWOT analysis directed at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in Ghana allows a deeper insight into the topic. The aim is to describe the lack of women's strong position in african developing countries with a focus on Ghana, to bring a comprehensive insight into the whole issue and to suggest appropriate actions to empower the position of women not only in the agrarian sector but also within the whole soci...
