Vývoj hospodářské situace Venezuely po nástupu Huga Cháveze: Sociální stát či sociální experiment?

The aim of the presented diploma work is to analyse the development of the economic situation of Venezuela from 1999 up to the present and to review what influence the political steps of the government have on the social situation in the country. In the theoretical part of the work, the most important factors of the economic growth are delimited, the main socioeconomic problems of the developing countries are presented and the political economic development is outlined. In the practical part of the work, the acquired data from both national and international institutions are analysed and compared and their changes are observed during the analysed period of time
