This thesis deals with development of security cooperation between Russian federation and People's Republic of China since 2002, especially in the field of security policy and military industry. It analyses the various aspects of foreign and security policy of Russia, China and European Union, their military capabilities, military budgets and their relations. SWOT analysis deals with relations of mentioned countries with the European Union. The results are used for the prediction of future development of cooperation
