The thesis analyses losses in the three phase induction motor with a focus on iron losses. In the first instance the three phase induction motor and the losses in it are described. The analytical calculation and the simulations in the RMXprt software are performed. The measurements were made with a different frequency (40, 50, 60Hz) and behaviour of supply voltage on a motor TM90-2S by EMP Slavkov. In conclusion the results of calculation, simulation and measurements are compared
