This thesis deals with the design, principles of permanent magnet synchronous machines and an analysis of their properties. As part of the work is done familiarization with the materials of permanent magnets and their arrangement, as well as construction of the engine where they are discussed types of winding machine configuration, types of motors with permanent magnets and the list of implemented solutions. In the next section of this paper is an analysis of the properties of selected types of concentrated winding with a focus on the emergence of harmonics. These data are compared with the model of the engine in the FEMM. Furthermore, a comparison of the calculations of these types of engines and their simulation in RMxprt
