Description of Electrical and Mechanical Blocking in Various Types of switchgear UniGear

In this bachelor’s thesis author focuses on medium voltage switchgear. Specifically switchgears produced by company ABB s.r.o. There is description of switchgear’s structure divided into basic blocks. Function of each block is described in detail. The second part introduces UniGear family. There is characteristic of their variants with table containing their electrical parameters. In next part author explains interlocking in switchgear and presents specific electrical, electromechanical and mechanical interlocks in switchgear. Next part contains exported schematics of three model substations made in EPLAN Electric P8 software, from which specific connections of commonly used interlocks can be read. Final part includes photographs of interlocks for extension of catalogs
