This work deals with the problem of visualization of the XML documents. The goal of it was to receive information about XML documents, to become a knowledge of their structure, to know the languages for their description and finally, to create functional application for visualization. This work contains a short description of the programming language Java, it points out to their advantages and the availability of use in programming application which works with XML documents. The reasons of XML visualization are given in this work, which includes brief descriptions of existing applications for visualization, too.
