Analysis of significant foreign methods for evaluation of game damages to forests

Game damages to forests are actual and often discussed problem. Evaluation and quantification of these damages in the Czech Republic is legally enshrined in Act No. 449/2001 Coll. about game management and in Decree No. 55/1999 Coll. about method of calculating the amount of injury or damage caused to forests. The aim of this article is to analyze the methods of assessment of damage to forests game in some European countries with similar forestry management like in the Czech republic and comparation with czech legislation
