It is possible to use remote sensing data for Forensic Ecotechnique: Forest and Trees expert’s assessment processing. The image data from some satellites are free on line at present time. Also electromagnetic bands numerical depiction can be obtained from the on line satellite imagery using the open source GIS Viewer QGIS. The way of remote sensing data usage for forensic experts is shown on an example of expert’s assessment regarding the cut down forest. A significant change in forest cover is possible to find when two Landsat-8 satellite images acquired at the different time are compared.
