Bachelor´s thesis more closely specifies effects of attenuation and dispersion of optical fibers in connection with influencing transmitted signal bandwidth and data transfer capacity. It also examines the influences acting on the optical signal passes through an optical fiber and the mechanism that lead to the attenuation or complete suppression of the signal.
