This master`s thesis deals with the design of an offshore crane jib with maximal safe working load 80 tons and maximal radius 45 meters. The design consists of a design solution of the steel construction and a stress analysis of its FEM model, which was performed using NX I-deas software according to the requirements and specifications of the Huisman company.
