Retirement house, Šumperk

The Master thesis resolves design of a retirement house in Šumperk. This is a three-storey house on plot No. 142/2 registered in the cadastral area Horní Temenice. The house is set to a slightly sloping terrain. Terrain features were taken into account when the architectural design was made. The building has a longitudinal shape with dimensions of 27 x 11.3 m. The building is built by using the Porotherm system. Retirement house has 15 apartments. Four double-bedded apartments and eleven single-bedded apartments. The purpose of the building is to extend capacity of a nursing home
