Modification of polyvinylalcohol of higher saponification degree for preparation of MDF composites

Bachelor's thesis deals with the modification of polyvinyl alcohol for use in macrodefect-free composites. The research involves modifying PVAL grafting suitable groups and the optimization of the preparation of the modified polymer. The concentration of the bounded modifier in polymer chain is measured by UV-VIS spectrometry, FTIR and rheology. The modified polymers were used in parallel thesis for the preparation of MDF composites
