This bachelor thesis deals with the design technology for product components "bearing cover“ in two variants. The first of them is designed for the production of one-piece components in company conditons. The second is concerned with the design technology for serial production of the same components using machines and tools from current production. The thesis contains designs for semi-finished components, the selection of machines from the company fleet, the design of suitable tools and cutting conditions. An economic evaluation deals with the determination of machining times for both variants of production. The proposed technology will be used for the real production of components
