The bachelor thesis deals with comparison of approaches for strength calculation of pressure vessels in ANSYS Workbench and SolidWorks Simulation. First chapter introduces methods for design of pressure vessels and its legislation. The following chapter gives basic information about both compared software witch were used for following analysis of pressure vessel. Results were compared according to ČSN EN 13 445 in the last chapter
