The bachelor’s thesis elaborated as part of a bachelor's degree of the branch mechanical engineering submitted a proposal of use cutting technology in the manufacturing process. The specified component is a tine and it is made of abrasion resistant and high-strength steel. The tine is produced in a series of 200,000 units / year. The first part of the thesis is pointed to technology of material cutting. For this technology a literature summary was made including a description of the requirements for the calculation of shearing machines and tools.
